Killer Tide is a very quick paced suspense read. Vinny moved back home to feel safe again after an attack and got more than she was looking for. Her high school boyfriend Ryan, who she’s still in love with, becomes a murder suspect when his wife turns up dead. Vinny helps find the real murderer while also dealing with the reason she moved back home.
In the middle of all the drama Vinny and Granny Annabelle decide to buy a coffee shop/book store. I can’t really tell you anymore about that as the book ends when the open sign is turned on.
I plan on reading the next book in this series; although I hope it is longer than Killer Tide. Also, a little more information would be wonderful. Books are suppose to draw you in and keep your mind turning and this one just didn’t do it for me. In all fairness, I will give Cassandra Linn more chances. She has great potential.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
