Here’s the deal… I don’t have a new book review for you today 😦 I haven’t picked up anything since reading the Gone Series by Stacy Claflin. So I decided I would go back to another series I haven’t talked about on here. And that would be the Heller Series by JD Nixon. If you haven’t heard of her yet, don’t worry, you have time to catch up before the last of Heller is released(but I hope not that long away). This series is steamy, crazy, and completely hilarious. Tilly is for one extremely lucky, but also stuck in kind of a hard place. If you haven’t yet, you need to read these books! You will stay up for days, and remember every single detail! I can almost promise that. Just be warned there are sex scenes, and a lot of foul language. But if you can get over that, and laugh at all the crazy stuff you will love it just as much as I do. And now, I believe its a good time to reread this series myself. JD Nixon also has another series, Little Town Series, it is just as great!!

Despite having no experience or skills, Tilly Chalmers can’t believe her luck when she lands a dream job in a security and surveillance business owned by the dangerously attractive Heller. But she soon discovers her new boss is a man of many secrets. And what is she to make of the strange group of people who live with him? After her first two assignments go disastrously wrong, and with a ruthless competitor on the scene, Tilly must decide if she has what it takes to survive the rough world of security work.
Tilly Chalmers’ sexy boss, Heller, has a talent for making enemies. Not a forgive-and-forget kind of man, he has a few scores to settle – including one with Tilly’s brother. Tilly is kept busy juggling that constant worry with managing three new assignments as a rookie security officer – crowd control at a lingerie parade, babysitting an immature, sex-starved IT billionaire, and an unusual and emotional job with a famous environmental activist. But as usual, Tilly’s assignments don’t go quite to plan. All this, as well as trying to keep her vow not to sleep with her beautiful and enigmatic boss, no matter how much of a temptation he proves.
Tilly Chalmers’ life is complicated. Her boyfriend is demanding more attention while her boss, Heller, is always a distracting temptation. Can she manage both of them as well as her new assignments: chaperoning a woman in an ugly divorce case; security at a swingers’ party; and looking after a fading A-list movie star? And how well can she pretend she doesn’t care now that Heller has found himself a girlfriend?
In her latest adventure, rookie security officer Tilly Chalmers has three new assignments to cope with – chaperoning a devious addict to a rehabilitation clinic; live-in security for a strange and isolated religious cult; and protecting a national TV host in a damaging court case. On top of all of this, she must also somehow manage her growing feelings for her boss, Heller, and decide on what to do about her love-rat ex-boyfriend’s demands to rekindle their relationship.
Tilly Chalmers’ new job as a researcher for a major TV star is turning out to be more eventful than she ever expected. Always on the lookout for a high rating story for her famous boss, she tangles with adult movie stars, and the man who inspired a couple of blood-thirsty young murderers. An unwelcome encounter with a long-time enemy stirs up trouble, and what important decision does Heller make that threatens to jeopardise their relationship?
There’s not much ordinary about Tilly Chalmers’ life as a security officer. Her latest assignments – two jobs involving children; protection of a valuable jewellery collection; and security at an unusual conference – provide plenty of adventures for her. But it’s her private life, including her complex relationship with her beautiful boss, Heller, causing her greatest personal challenges yet.
BOOK 7: Heller’s Family is expected to be out in 2015. Its getting shorter and shorter, maybe a Christmas gift? 🙂 I cant wait to see what happens, but very sad its going to be the last of Heller. Look for my review when its released!
If you read/have read this series let me know what you thought! I’ve already read it a couple of times and am sure a couple more will be in the future 🙂
