Tough Justice: Exposed by Carla Cassidy

Tough Justice ExposedA new job. A new case. A new criminal…?

Special Agent Lara Grant will do anything to get her mark—until her last undercover case, infiltrating the notorious Moretti crime ring, forced her to get close to the top. Way. Too. Close…

Now starting a new job in New York City, all Lara wants is to leave the ghosts of her past behind. Until a dramatic sniper attack leaves Lara’s face – and real name – all over the media. In the blink of an eye, her cover is blown, her identity exposed.

Then a woman’s body is found, branded with the ritual Moretti tattoo. Someone knows who Lara is…and exactly how to make her pay

After being undercover then in hiding for a year, Special Agent Lara is back on the job. Starting fresh with a new team and a new partner, Lara is trying to return to normal life. But the past and her undercover work is coming back to haunt her. In a huge way..

A little girl is dead, her murderer murdered, and another woman stabbed and stamped lead them to Lara’s nightmares. They know she’s a cop and now they know exactly where to find her. They also know about the family in the pretty yellow house…

I’m glad they do, because I surly don’t! Lara seems like a tough cop, but I think she has a softer side wanting to completely come out. I’m not sure what’s going to happen but I MUST read the rest of this series!!!

I know that’s not much detail, but I honestly cant tell you more. Lara is going to come through all this stuff and be just fine, I just know it. I plan on reading the rest of this series and will let you in on whatever I find out.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. These thoughts and opinions are all mine.
