It seems I am stuck on Anna Quindlen for the moment, but I just can’t help it! This is so true. I live in Louisiana, and I’ve been to about ten other states in the US. Never have I ever had a better trip than the ones I take in books I read. With each new book, chapter or page I can be anywhere in the world. Your probably saying “yeah right” but guess what…. if you read the way I do and totally lose yourself in your books, you would feel the same exact way!
I’ve seen this quote a couple times and it always sticks in my head. Now thanks to WCW I finally have a good reason to share it! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. And hopefully have that same feeling one day.

I love this quote! Reading has always been a part of my life. The stories I’ve read stay with me long after I finish a book. The characters still live in my mind. I’ve found that books are the only medium that have this impact on me. 🙂

I like your post, it is encouraging; however, depending on the type or genre of book, I might find it hard to ‘get stuck’ in certain books, but when I do get stuck in a book, I am sucked into it.
